CalDAV task sync
Add org.dmfs.tasks as a task provider.
I want to sync my personal tasks without Google and store them on my own CalDAV server.
Please make BC's tasks compatible with software like DAVdroid or CalDAV-Sync.Would be awesome!

Task Sync for Office 365 / Oulook
Google has the WORST Task API, without even offering a dedicated web page, so why is it the only task app that Business Calendar 2 will sync with?
Please offer syncing to office 365 tasks and others (wunderlist, etc.)

iOS-Version
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
ich bin seit Jahren Anroid-Nutzer. Diese App ist so hervorragend und so einfach zu bedienen. Sie hilft mir sehr dabei, mich zu organisieren und zu planen. Ein großes Lob an Sie alle!
Nun bin ich jedoch zu iOs gewechselt und musste leider leider leider feststellen, dass es von diesem Kalender keine iOS-Version gibt.
Ich bin bald verzweifelt.
Gibt es irgendwann eine iOS-Version?Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

proposes to add to the PRO version further advanced notification options (SMS Reminder) for Business as its name suggests applications.
When you click post notification -> optional pop-up | It is | ; E-mail | It is | ; SMS reminder | it isn't | could be sent to the names displayed phone number along with a user-supplied text, or using stored templatesExample:

Set event reminders time as "date and time" for example "2014-05-20 16:35"
In a new event I want to have possibility to enter reminders time as exact "date and time" for example "2014-05-20 16:35". Current pattern "some time before" (for example 57 hours before the event) is inconvenient.
This also includes displaying reminder time in exact datetime format.
This could be an preferences option so that user can choose which method is preferred.

Google Tasks
Now, when Google Tasks can have time and can be recurring, will it be possible to synchronize their time and recurrence with Business Calendar 2? I was not using Google Tasks until now, but they seem to be usable now.

Sync with MS Outlook's category and colour for appointments
BC2 needs to sync category and colour with Outlook / Exchange.
This issues is a deal-breaker for me. DejaCalendar has a horrible interface but see what DejaCalendar does with their tool "CompanionLink for Outlook" on Windows.

Multiple Time Zones
I am surprised that none of the views features additional time zones, similar to MS Outlook or Google Calendar. This would be a tremendous help when planning events/calls/meetings across the continents. At least 2 time zones would be great. And at least in Day view, if not not also in Week view.

Attach Tasks to Events
Attach task & task lists to events so the tasks could be moved or copied with the event. It would be nice to be able to copy the event & have the choice of copying the tasks or not copying them. Thanks!

External .ics URL sync
It would be great to have Business Calendar sync external calendars through URL. I currently have to use a separate sync app to do this properly. Google Calendar only allows for a sync to occur every 24 hours, which is unsuitable for most situations in the workplace. You could really one up them on this feature. Please allow for the sync interval to be adjustable as well.

Task sorting by user priority
Hi,
many thanks for such a nice application.Please, can you integrate Task sorting by user like website of Google calendar (or application like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.teamtasks.tasks&hl=en )?
I'am using many tasks and sorting by date or priority is little confused. (because high priority have more task than is visible on widget screen).

Color coding whole days/weeks etc.
A simple example: I am planning to stay the next week in NY, then 8 days in Berlin, followed by 2 weeks in Timbuktu. Is there a possibility to implement a batch coloring mechanism which would distinguish these locations by differing backgrounds of the relevant days/weeks (and, obviously, tasks, events etc are then to be entered)? Yes, this could be managed via different (e.g.Google) calendars, but not everybody wishes to rely on syncs.
Maybe the option already exists (BCPro?) but I haven't succeeded in discovering it.

Event duration in overview
I would really appreciate the option to see the total duration of the appointment.
So when I click on my entry in any view I would then see from e.g. 10-17h and beyond or next to it the total duration like 10-17h (7 hours).
Would be really great because I could track my working times really easy.
Especially for entries lasting a few days it's not that easy to read the duration directly from the apps time-line.105 votes -
Split view Month/Agenda
Some calendar apps, such as Today Calendar, have a split view with the month displayed in the top half and the agenda displayed in the bottom half. I would really like that view in Business Calendar.

Add video conferencing feature while scheduling event
During scheduling a event in calender, video conferencing option like meet or hangout or zoom etc to appear. May be general pointer where user can opt if meeting to be done by zoom or meet etc.

Mute Button for Appointments
Tick box when creating a appointment to make BC automatic set the smartphone to mute when the appointment is nearly started. And unmute it when the appointment is over...

Automatic Backup
I'd like to be able to automatically backup my calendar, tasks, and options to the SD card. Right now every night I do a manual backup (i.e. export) of each of these, but that's an unreliable and intrusive way to be sure I have a current backup. I'd need to be able to specify what's backed up just as I do now with the manual export. Others may prefer backing up to a different location such as G-Drive or DropBox.
