Symbol for repetition, reminder, description, attachment & others
I would be pleased if it were immediately apparent in the preview of the appointments in the weekly overview that something has been entered in the "Description" field in the appointment details (e.g. in the form of an icon). It would also be practical if it were also immediately apparent in the overview that the appointment has an attachment (e.g. in the form of a paper clip).

I need Business Calendar 2 for Windows
Most of the day I'm on my laptop, running Windows OS, and I'm trying to avoid using my phone at all, so I would need a solution for Windows.

Progress
Hi,
I would love to have this feature :
the ability to see a progress bar per tasks with subtasks and if possible for the overall day as well (tasks completed on a given day)
I think this would make the app complete !7 votes -
Custom Audio Messages for Appointments OR Categories
The feature involves the ability to attach custom audio messages to individual appointments, providing users with a more personalized and dynamic reminder system.
This feature would allow users to attach an audio file (e.g., voice memos, custom sounds) to specific calendar appointments. When the appointment's alarm or reminder goes off, the attached audio message would play, providing a more engaging and customizable notification experience. This can be especially useful for users who prefer auditory reminders or need detailed instructions at the time of the event.
USE CASES:
Users could record personal messages or instructions that play when an event reminder…

Hide any calendar from the view without deactivating it
I suggest a feature to hide any calendar with the toggles at the bottom of the view without actually deactivating that calendar and its notifications. For example, I have a medicine calendar whose reminders are important, but I don’t need to see it in the view, as it clutters it unnecessarily.

Use specific calendar's events as background for week view
I have a separate calendar for daily work times (with a rolling schedule, differing for multiple weeks), which I'd like to see in the background of my week view. Naturally, the contained events are all marked as "free" (and thus look different than those with busy status), but still take up horizontal space besides appointments from my main calendar, making the latter illegible.

Guaranteed Event Persistence and Sync Reliability
Currently, Business Calendar for Android occasionally fails to save or sync events when network conditions are poor or when users don't wait for the complete sync process. This results in data loss, which is unacceptable for calendar events that often represent critical business and personal commitments.
User Impact:
• Lost appointments and meetings
• Reduced trust in the application
• Need to re-enter data multiple times
• Risk of missing important commitments
• Additional time spent verifying if events were actually savedProposed Solution:
Implement a robust event persistence system with the following characteristics:
Local-First Storage:
• Save events immediately…

Share/Use lokal Calendar with other peaople
I use Business Calendar 2 without Microsoft and Google. I created multiple lokal calendar for diffrent situations. It would be really nice to share and use these lokal calendar with other people. I saw its possible with Google and Microsoft but i dont want to use them. I like it when im able to export my diffrent calendar and have all my appointments seperated.
Share a single lokal calendar or maybe calendar groups would be a awesome feature.

Line-wrapping in month-view
In month-view event titles get truncated, making the titles quite uninformative on narrow screens. Hence, it would be useful for me to have the option to enable line-wrapping event titles in the month-view.

Lock week-view and month-view in landscape mode
My main view is month, showing 3 weeks with all 7 days. On a phone in portrait mode this becomes quote narrow. In landscape mode this becomes more useful, as more text of the event titles can be shown before it gets truncated.
I would like this to be the default. I don't like putting my phone in auto-rotate mode, as it mostly annoys me when apps rotate accidentally.

open app directly to a specific calendar based on widget setting
I suggest adding a feature that allows opening the app directly to a specific calendar based on which widget is tapped. For example, if I have two widgets on my home screen, one showing Calendar A and another showing Calendars B and C, I'd like to be able to tap the first widget and have the app open directly to Calendar A, or tap the second widget and open the app to view both Calendars B and C. This would save time and improve efficiency when switching between different calendar views.
right now, whatever calendar on widget is set.

Choose time format
I'd like to be able to choose the time format (24 / 12AM/PM) in business calendar independently from the phone system settings.

Static summary view. A summary function like look back to my 2023
That able to check back on how many time and how often do I spent time on sports, social, travel, my interests or any of the events. Which may help me to have a clear idea on the time spending of past years and review my living patterns.

User-defined anniversary/birthday types
Currently five birthday/anniversary types are available: birthdays, anniversaries, name days , wedding days and other. In my contacts I'm using a few additional types, e.g. date of death or licence/achievement dates. In BC2 these are grouped into the "other" type and thus have the same colour. It would be nice if one could add user-defined types in order to style them differently.

Get rid of double-notifications
Currently, BC2 seems to sync with Samsung Calendar, if available. Unfortunately, Samsung does not allow to disable notifications. You can set the Samsung Calendar to "silent" and disable notifications on the lock screen but you cannot disable them completely. It would be great if BC2 does not sync calendars from Microsoft Accounts (...@outlook.com) to the local calendar.

(Day pro widget/day view) Option to make tasks sections depending on what task lists the task belongs to
The sidebar with tasks is AMAZING, however, the colour coding of the task isn't enough for me. It'd be helpful if we could divide the sidebar tasks into visible groups.
Example:
You have two task lists, one for home, and one for work. Right now the tasks are all mixed together and color-coded but randomly spread across the column.
With the grouping, you could see a "home" tasks list and "work" task list under each other and the tasks in those lists for the day in them.
Extra points if you could minimise it so when you're at work you…1 vote -
I love this calendar, all it's features and it is already so perfect as it is. Thank you for making my life easier
If you want to go an extra mile, being able to count clients sessions and payments within the app would be unbelievable :)

To eliminate duplicates in all views
I want duplicates to be eliminated in all views:
Duplicates may be produced eg by sharing with someone and integrating this ones calender.
Or by including a calender in more then one view (buttons at the bottom).
Doing it manually is no really practical.1 vote
