Have option to add shoulder events to your appointment - for travel time etc
I would like to have a function to optionally add shoulder events for an appointment. Typically used to add travelling time either side of an appointment - to ensure that when others view your busy/freetime - they actually book a meeting time that you can physically make.
So the idea would be that you create an appointment, then select the shoulder appointment checkbox (which could be 2 one for before/one for afterwards) then add a title and time for those 1 or 2 shoulder events - and save your appointment. What you get is 3 appointments back to back, Travel->Appointment->Travel for example.

This is becoming more common these days - it's in the Google web app and iCal, for example, so I find I'm working with it in some apps and not others.
The stock iPad app does something like this.
What I'd really love is if I put a location into my appointment is the calendar automatically suggests shoulder time from one appointment to another. Sometimes I go from appointment to appointment. Sometimes I go from appointment to home to appointment.
Alternatively, I could teach my kids how to drive and get them cars.
Outlook has this functionality and it is very nice. I wish BCP also had it. One implementation note: the time remaining until the meeting dynamically updates, so if you have a meeting reminder set for 5 minutes before the meeting, when the notification pops up it'll show "starts in 5 minutes" and after a couple minutes go by, the notification (if it hasn't been swiped/cleared) will show "starts in 3 minutes". Once the event starts, the message should be "event has started" and once it is over it should say "event has ended". The wording, of course, can be whatever, but that's loosely based on what Outlook does.
Additional note: this is not a request for the persistent notification; this request is to add the feature to normal, non-persistent notifications.

If there is an address that is put into an event, I would absolutely LOVE one of these two options that get the same thing achieved:
1)Give a notification to leave X amount of minutes before you HAVE to leave to make it to the location on time(For example, in 30m you have to leave to reach <location> for <event title>
2) At time of event entry, pull the estimated travel time from google maps, since it autoinputs the address, and add an optional additional reminder to leave at x amount of time prior to the event.
Thank you for the consideration!

Planning a trip time when making an appointment
Could you please add the option to display time until event in any given reminder notification? (ex. ETA 46mins until appointment) I imagine that most times users are notified via pop-up while they are using other apps. Being presented with a remaining time until event would bring a sense of time awareness, encouraging the user to reconsider prioritized tasks at that moment in order to make it to the next upcoming event on time.
I understand that one could simply look at the clock and figure out ETA by comparing that to the time of the notification, however I feel that is wasted concentration. That could be better suited to adjusting what is important to do at that moment rather than do quick math figuring out how much time is left, saving precious seconds in the heat of multitasking.
We have created a start-up based all around this problem. Our team at Snap Out created www.emma.ai to automatically add travel time to your calendar entries.
Emma.ai connects to your Google Calendar and automatically adds travel time based on your personal preferences. We are just about to launch in beta to a small group of early users and would like to invite everyone who it subscribed to this post to be an early user! We would love your feedback - if you are interested please register your interest at www.emma.ai.
iPad does this, but it does not transfer.
This would be super helpful! Right now I have to do this manually.

Additional to the reminder would it be creat to generat an Entry for the traveling time. Like the google reminder, which updates even autmatically. For example you have an Event in Bonn and the next in Cologne. By using the function the app generates an event in your calander Traveling time, or driving time. so you see by looking into the calndender when you musst leave Bonn to be in time in Cologne
