Be able to change tasks to events and vice versa
Be able to take a task and schedule time for it in the calendar. Or take an event and convert it to to a task

Hi, it is already possible:

Already possible by copying and deleting, but that's several steps instead of just a change of type.

If "duration for tasks" was solved, would there be a need for this use case?

It should be drag and drop. In the day view, this could easily be implemented.

Copying takes a lot of time, please add it to the menu: "Move to another day, Move by a fixed time, Copy, Share, Change to Task/Event")

It's working as Dominika wrote.

I see this as a must. It's the next step in setting up tasks, scheduling when you get them done!

BC 2 gives you the possibility to change tasks into events and viceversa. However, you can't do it directly, but there is a workaround :) You can use the copy function. Copy the event you want to change to tasks, then change its status ('new task') in the event view and save as a task. Then you will have to delete the event from which it was copied.

Please benchmark functionalities offered by Calengoo now since it covers all possible options.

To quickly convert calendar entries into tasks and remove them from the calendar. Also put tasks onto calendar. I use a to-do checklist with Colornote app right now to do this. It would be nice to have a to-do list integrated with Business Calendar.

Agreed! I very much appreciate this functionality in a competing calendar app that I am using.

To clarify, this only seems minimally useful unless it can also be done using drag-and-drop method as well. I've given this 3 votes. Should I create a new idea that specifically states this?

Ritengo che sia una ottima idea. Gradirei anch'io avere questa implementazione.
