This is one of the features I'd need the most. Either shorter sync intervals or an option to sync from the widget header - like the "refresh" button that is there. I thought something is wrong with my widget since I thought the "refresh" icon on top of it was meant for that. Frankly, I have no idea what the refresh button really does ... so why not use it to trigger a sync?

Strange that this is a feature request back from 2015 and not to many other people have that issue?
I have this issue specifically with tasks and the task widget. The current shortest sync interval is one hour, which is creating confusion when you float between PC and phone ... also there was an older request to embed a sync button into the task widget. It would great for the app to automatically sync events & tasks when opened, so that any device with BC2 installed would be up to date before working on it.

this feature is important to be sure that I am watching latest version of my callendar. Google calendar does it.

Yes Please! I with 2 laptops running Outlook, via Google Calendar. I often work on my main laptop, adding content to my Calendar, then grab my phone to do some other tasks - and check Calendar/make other updates. So, it's important to me that the Sync occur as quickly as possible among my devices. 1 hours is far to long. 1 Minute is ok, but instant would be better, i.e. detect changes on Google and update. Or at least any changes made in BC2 sync'd immediately.

I have the very same problem and I always have to do the manual synchronization... I would appreciate instant synchronization or every minute.

Start automatically sync whenever a change is made.
