    This is one of the features I'd need the most. Either shorter sync intervals or an option to sync from the widget header - like the "refresh" button that is there. I thought something is wrong with my widget since I thought the "refresh" icon on top of it was meant for that. Frankly, I have no idea what the refresh button really does ... so why not use it to trigger a sync?

    Strange that this is a feature request back from 2015 and not to many other people have that issue?
    I have this issue specifically with tasks and the task widget. The current shortest sync interval is one hour, which is creating confusion when you float between PC and phone ... also there was an older request to embed a sync button into the task widget. This is one of the features I'd need the most. I thought something is wrong with my widget since I thought the "refresh" icon on top of it was meant for that. Frankly, I have no idea what the refresh button really does ... so why not use it to trigger a sync?
