This is just bizarre you can't do this. I have repeating notifications so if I'm not near my phone when I get the initial notification, I'll hear the ongoing notification. So the initial notification may start 2 hours before the event and repeat every 10 minutes, but I just discovered if I hear the notification at the beginning or shortly thereafter, I can't clear it and have to listen to the notification repeat every 10 minutes all the way to the event start! Drives me crazy! Going to have to replace the app.
