Option to mute reminders so they stay in notifications bar but don't repeat.
Sometimes I don't want to snooze or dismiss a notification but mute it so it remains in notifications bar as a reminder

Yes, this exactly.
Before a notification stayed in the bar until I dismissed it, now it goes away as soon as the time is finished. if i miss the window of time it pops up I forget about it, and I've tried everything to get reminders to work and it's just not happening.
I don't want to use the on-going notification as this can't be dismissed (annoyingly).
I use to it as a reminder to take meds, and once taken I dismiss the reminder, but I can't do that anymore.

This issue is very annoying, in particular when the event has been opened just for viewing its details rather than for editing it.

Once an alarm was fired, I'd like to be able to view it, without dismiss it. Currently, if i click on an alarm which just went off (to check what is about), i press back button and then this alarm is considered dismissed and it'll not show up anymore.
