I would love desktop access, or a Chrome exension as someone else suggested so I could use it on my Chromebook too which would be even better! I sync with Google Calendar which works fine, but Google Tasks has very limited functionality compared to BC2, so when I create tasks on my desktop I can't add reminders or set to repeat, and when these new tasks sync to BC2 they still have this limited functionality.

I don't see the point of this. There are many free calendar implementations such as Google so why waste time reinventing the wheel? And if you want to run your own calendar on your own server then use eg nextcloud

Please conform by e-mail whenever a desktopversion is ready. Meanwhile I will be using another calender-app which offers this sync. With regrets and hope to be back soon...

Like many people who already commented here, I'd love a Desktop or a Chrome extension version of this calendar!

Pretty self explanatory.
I just love this app so much, it could substitute the entire old and annoying web interface for google calendar.

I love the app on Android but sync with Google calendar leaves tasks behind. Using the calendar on a laptop knowing that there are things missing is a "no go"!

Desktop version plea~~~~~~~~se !!!!!!!

Yes, this would be great. Syncing via Google calendar means that tasks created in BC 2 on my phone don't appear in BC 2 on my tablet, as Google calendar doesn't support task sync.

Many believe that Sunrise was probably the best calendar app ever created. Business Calendar 2 is pretty great in its own right, but it has many integrations and platforms to go before it outdoes Sunrise. Aside from app integrations, it was ubiquity that made Sunrise great. A web version of Business Calendar 2 (and Chrome extension) would go a long way in closing the gap!

Did a google search hoping to find this Android app in a desktop version and got really excited when this link came up in the search results. With a quick glance at the description, I guess I misread it because I thought I found what I was looking for. It would be great to have this app in a desktop version. Hopefully someone at Appgenix is reading these :-)

Great idea! The phone app is excellent, but the lack of a Win PC application is a drawback. I'd love to be able to use a PC app when I'm on my PC to exploit the better UI bandwidth on the PC. Also with a PC application I could backup the calendar & tasks automatically using my PC backup instead of manually backing up on the phone. I'd be happy to pay separately for the PC app.
