    I don't see the point of this. There are many free calendar implementations such as Google so why waste time reinventing the wheel? And if you want to run your own calendar on your own server then use eg nextcloud

    Related to this is the ability to convert a task to a subtask and vice versa.

    I like that idea! I use Google Tasks for personal ToDo but Wunderlist for work related things. Being able to integrate would be interesting.
