Subtasks to be assigned a default due date of the main task. This causes sync issues if the other app does not support subtasks
When syncing with another program that does not support subtasks, subtasks are seen as tasks without date and dont show in agenda. While I can assign a date to subtask I need to go into task setting and manually edit each subtask which is incredibly time consuming especially if you have a lot of tasks with a lot of subtasks.

I think it has to be opposite. For some tasks (long term) , subtasks must have due dates. Otherwise you can't spread task for longer period than one day.
