How I accomplished this?
First my method works for tasks. As events are different.
Add a task
Time is 'no due date'
It will show up until marked 'done'
Tasks can be repetitive:
add the 'repeat' function, e.g. every 2days.
Now you mark it 'done' for today, and it creates a copy on the 'repeat day'.
( I don't know what of this works in the basic version, I use pro.)
