Templates accessibility
Currently you have to "add event" to be able to access the "Manage templates" menu. Hardly intuitive. It should be in the main side settings bar preferably, with its own place at the top level menu selection. This will allow faster access without going through too many submenus. Thanks.

I would love to see a dedicated screen for template maintenance. It's not currently easy to find and edit existing templates, or edit one to make another.
The only way I've seen to edit a template is to create a new event, choose the template in question, then edit it.
I work retail, so having templates like "Work @ 9", "Work @ 12:30", and "Work @ 5" is very handy, but setting them up is currently a pain. -

Frankly any quicker way to access templates would be great, but it'd be especially useful if one could pin various shortcuts to the homescreen that jumped right into the 'create' screen with a given template ready to go. Alternatively (or ideally in addition), a drop down accessible in one click when creating a new event, as has been suggested previously by other users, would be invaluable in helping us use BC2 to its full potential.
Generally, I think templates would make an excellent headline feature. I obviously have no data to back this up, so if anyone knows otherwise I'd be interested to hear, but I would venture to guess that a lot of people, most of the time, are not entering terribly novel or unique appointments into their calendars. Surfacing the templates feature in some way would certainly reduce the friction involved in creating many, if not the majority, of calendar entrys, and surely this would increase user engagement with the app (and make me a very happy camper).
