DAVdroid supports syncing tasks via CalDAV since version 0.8 (with dmfs.org.tasks), maybe a similar approach would work to sync tasks with business calendar 2?

Toodledo sync in the original Business Calendar (through Business Tasks) was a crucial part of my BC usage. I love what you've done with BC2, but I'm grudgingly considering moving back to the original BC Pro because of this.

I use toodledo with your original Businesses Calendar Pro. I need it to work with BC2 before I can switch.

It should simply be possible to add a local file (file://path/*/*ics) that is synced by tresorit or dropbox, or a path to a caldav server. Have a look at the options that thunderbird provides, when it comes to add calendars. Can't be that complicated. (BTW: I can activate BC under "add accounts", it is grey out)

I'd like to see CalDAV task support together with Caldav-Sync (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dmfs.carddav.Sync). This would be an unique feature, because there is no other complete Android solution für events and tasks, that supports CalDAV.

Exchange/Office365 task support would be SO great

This would be great. I'm using the outlook tasks on the pc and with the app "Tasks & Notes" it's possible to get them from the Exchange Outlook account. But in Business Calendar I can't use them.

You're propably right, but there is a difference between integrating a special provider and integrating a whole protocol like CalDAV which is being used by different providers...
Sure keep it simple but try to integrate different protocols to be open for different providers!

If we keep integrating providers we'll end up with a 1GB app that can do just the same with half million different providers...

Keep-it-simple. Lean and fast is better in my book.
