This idea is closed as it is too generic and covers multiple build-ins. Please transfer your votes to the integration suggestion for a single task provider e.g. Outlook task sync, Caldav task sync. etc.

And not doing community-management is inacceptable either!

It's so sad, that you don't hear the uservoice! So many comments, so long time and no feedback. Technically I understand, that proprietary standards like Exchange, Yahoo and ToodleDo are complicated. But Caldav?!?!

Maybe you can give feedback, if you will ever work on this?!? "wird überprüft" ("under review") since 5 years is in-acceptable.

For privacy reasons I neither use Microsoft nor Google to sync tasks. Please, add support for CalDAV task lists to enable BC2 users to choose their provider/own server.

Which part of "Add ability to sync with CalDAV tasks" do the developers not understand?

Microsoft 365 (private and business) integration would be marvelous!

With this feature, there would be no need for any other app besides a Email-Client on my phone ;-)

Hello. I managed to add to BC2 my personal calendar, located in my nextcloud server. I did it through the davx5 application https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.bitfire.davdroid

1. Create calendar in nextcloud
2. Install davx5 on Android
3. Sync calendar via davx5

After that, a calendar from the cloud appeared in my BC2.

Unfortunately, tasks in BC2 did not appear.

Thats makes it the most requested feature for more than 4 years - and yet no reaction. That's really poor. Instead there are many updates with features no one really needs.

4 (yes 4!) years ago you claimed on record (email) that:
"We are already working on our own sync functionality to incorporate other sync partners"

So far, nothing of that sort has been delivered as far as I can tell.
I am very disappointed with this otherwise quite pleasant product. Despite being a pro owner,, I will be forced to switch to a solution that takes my (blatantly basic) customer needs more seriously unless there is significant movement in that matter.

It would enable BC2 to sync tasks with OwnCloud / NextCloud instances. Or any other Cloud which uses the CalDAV protocol.

Its overdue! We need modern features, not just sticking with old google task.
