How can I import/export widget settings?

Business Calendar 2 widgets can be customized in so many ways, that it sometimes seems impossible to recreate them again. That is why BC 2 offers you a handy tool to back up your widget settings. With the import/export widget settings feature, you will be able to save all your carefully personalized settings. With the function you will save a setting file, which you will be able to use in the future. You will not have to set up your widget from the scratch again!

How do I export my settings?

First of all please remember that you have to export the settings of your widgets separately, if you use more than one of the BC 2 widgets. You have to save a separate file with settings for every single widget, that you have on your home screen.

In order to do the back up, please open the widget settings first.

Already in the widget settings, you will see the menu icon in the upper right corner of the view. Click on the icon in order to open the drop down menu.

Choose the → Export settings option and decide, if you want to save the file on your device or send it as an attachment to an email.

How do I import the settings in the new widget?

Basically all you need to do is to place a new widget on your home screen and choose the → Import settings option in the menu drawer in the upper right corner of your widget settings.

Wait until the files will be loaded and select the file you want to import the widget settings from. Then confirm the action with the → Import button.

All your exported settings will be applied to the new widget. Right now you just need to save the widget to your home screen and you can use your old-new widget.
