I want function "month view starts with current week" also in widget
as described above - this useful function is in application and I would like to have it also in widget. (it will display next 4-5 weeks as it does in app)

The option to start the month widget with the current week has been added with version 2.18.0.

Thanks for this new feature ;) In addition it would be nice not not see the next 6 weeks ( a bit too much) but rather 4 or 5 (or custom number of weeks). Anyway thanks again.

Yeah, that'd be an incredibly amazing feature. It's just what the widget needs to be 100% useful. Now it is not possible to see weeks ahead in the widget, which is necessary for lots of people.

The current widget shows 6 weeks (to make sure that all weeks of a month are displayed). With the new feature, we can imagine that the user could specify the number of "next" weeks to be displayed e.g. show the next 3 weeks. Hence there will be more space in the daily cells to show more events. Or the total size of the widget could be smaller. Up to the user. This is similar to the Weekly Calendar where you can specify the number of days you want to display.
