More status options
It would be nice to have the same event status options like in outlook ("out of office", "tentative", "working elsewhere").

EN : Sometimes we make a Doodle reservation. So I would like to be able to save these dates on my calendar in a "provisional" state and then to be able to confirm one of these reserved date. With the optional effect of deleting those one that are not confirmed.
Merci, -

Yes, being able to differentiate tentative appointments in the views would be very helpful as I use that as "informational" meetings, i.e. I want to know that they're happening but I don't attend regularly.

Please support the event status (tentative, confirmed, cancelled).
This standard feature is part of the iCalendar Core specification as per RFC 5545 3.8.1.11 (Status). Some applications such as Thunderbird Lightning and Apple iOS calender app already show the status of events. Unfortunately, it seems there is no support by Android calendar apps. Please let me know in case there is one. So, I'm wondering about this fact since the element is supported by the Google calendar API as well sync tools such as DAVx5.
Implementation of status by BC would be a stand-alone feature and USP!
BC might show tentative events in italics, cancelled events as strike-through text and confirmed ones as normal text. Many uservoice suggestions already address this or related issues counting overall more than 60 voices (April 2020):

Be able to mark a diary entry as Tentative/Maybe and make it visually different so it can be differentiated i.e. striped out box in calendar of the same colour.

In google calendar the "maybe" events are with different pattern on background, please do something similiar

This would really help me too, I get a lot of invites that are marked free or tentative that are mostly informational and I won't be going to, so it's nice to easily see what things I'm busy/OOO for.

Visually differentiate appointments marked as Maybe (Tentative) on the various views of the calendar.

This would really help me at work, with the way that Exchange is used here.

Vielleicht lässt sich da mal was ändern? Vielleicht auch durch farbliche Unterscheidung o.ä.? Das wäre toll!

I wholeheartedly support this. An automatic color scheme for private events would be great, for example.
It's possible in Outlook as can be seen in this german tutorial (last post in thread):

I would like to see private, busy, tentative, free, and out of office meetings/events in a different style within the agenda or calendar views - especially in combination with Exchange accounts!

In the new Exchange Server there are the following status available: "Working Elsewhere", "Tentative", "Out of Office". The Generation of own new status would be cool too, but really only nice to have.

I woull recommende to have more option in the pull down menue beside available and occupied. For example out of office or not available. If I import and entry from MS Exchange account it appears.

The ability to make templates, where also Out of office and Tentative are options when the selected calendar supports this (e.g. Exchange-accounts).
Now it is only possible to select Busy or Available, even if you create a template from an event already marked with Out of office or Tentative.
