Option to hide events that are present in multiple synced calendars.
When sharing a calendar with someone and both attending the same event, please add an option to not show the same event from both calendars, but somehow merge or prioritize them.

For browsers, I use this one, which does a somewhat good job in google calendar, maybe a bit too aggressive in the colorscheme, but it is clear what is going on:

Another approach would be to simply hide all but one and mark the event as multiple occurrences

As suggested a while ago, something like this chrome extension:
"Event Merge for Google Calendar™"

When viewing an event next to the edit and trash icon an (eye) icon which hides only the selected event from the overview.
Useful for external calenders which are used by multiple users and you are interested in only some events so you don't want to hide all events.
Especially long lasting events make the overview fussy. -

I'd like to hide certain individual events on my screen that are on a shared calendar.
